We honour that the lands where we gather and work are ancestral lands, some also home to First Nations peoples for millennia. Some of the words we share come from the teachings of Kichwa and Panzaleo people of the Andean regions in Ecuador. We extend respect and gratitude to their Elders past, present and emerging, and to their enduring bond with the land. At ARPI we recognize the interdependence of all life. Living in harmony means unity, solidarity and empathy. When we remember that we are part of the Earth and not its owners, the path to a just and compassionate future opens. Honramos que las tierras donde trabajamos y nos reunimos son tierras ancestrales, algunas también hogar de pueblos originarios durante milenios. Algunas de las palabras que compartimos provienen de las enseñanzas de los pueblos Kichwa y Panzaleo de las regiones andinas en Ecuador. Extendemos nuestro respeto y gratitud a sus mayores pasados, presentes y emergentes, y a su vínculo perdurable con la tierra. En ARPI reconocemos la interdependencia de toda la vida. Vivir en armonía significa unidad, solidaridad y empatía. Al recordar que somos parte de la Tierra y no sus dueños, se abre el camino hacia un futuro justo y compasivo.
