An initiation to delve into the path towards inner freedom through deep connection to nature.

Our Retreats

A life changning experience is 7 days of deep connection with nature, nutritional meals, meditation, plant medicine ceremonies and authentic experiences in the middle of beautiful nature in Ecuador.

This program, made for 17 participants only per retreat, is designed for you to become an active player in the process of reconnecting with your Inner Guide.  We open up the space for you to connect with real plant medicine, in the land where it was intended to be used in the first place, guided by authentic Yachakuna (Shamans).

If you feel scared. If you feel excited. If you feel anxious. You are ready to take the next step.

Why?

VIDAYA Community & Journeys collaborates with renowned Yachakuna, wisdom keepers (shamans) who are the true guardians of these ancestral traditions. Among those we walk alongside is Tayta Isidro and others who carry lineages that have been alive for millennia.

We believe deeply that these traditions have been increasingly misused and misunderstood in the modern world. VIDAYA Community & Journeys exists as a bridge, opening space so that the caretakers of this knowledge can share it the way it has always been shared, with integrity, context, and reverence. Not as a product. As a living transmission.

For over 4 years, VIDAYA Community & Journeys has been building this bridge with a format that allows participants to open their own path and develop a deeper understanding of the larger weaving of life and our place within it.

This is not about the intake of any medicine. It is about understanding that everything we consume, what we eat, what we think, what we surround ourselves with, affects us at every level. The ceremonies held within this space invite that awareness, guided by those who have carried this responsibility across generations.

What now ?

Now, after four years of creating consciousness and protecting the integrity of ancestral traditions, we are stepping into a deeper mission. VIDAYA Foundation is born. A project to protect not only the traditions themselves, but the lands and archaeological sites that hold them, inside the Choco Andino de Pichincha, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and one of the most biodiverse cloud forests on Earth.

Because the traditions and the territory are the same body. You cannot protect one without protecting the other.

If you cannot join us on retreat, you can still be part of this change. Very soon we will be sharing how you can stand with us in protecting this land for the generations to come.

We honour that the lands where we gather and work are ancestral lands, some also home to First Nations peoples for millennia. Some of the words we share come from the teachings of Kichwa and Panzaleo people of the Andean regions in Ecuador. We extend respect and gratitude to their Elders past, present and emerging, and to their enduring bond with the land. At ARPI we recognize the interdependence of all life. Living in harmony means unity, solidarity and empathy. When we remember that we are part of the Earth and not its owners, the path to a just and compassionate future opens. We welcome dialogue, feedback and collaboration as we walk together. Our terms and conditions can be found within the following link: Terms & Conditions
