We will meet during a sacred turning of the seasons, a time known by many names: Beltane, Walpurgis, May Day, and in the South, and important time between Pawkar Raymi and Inti Raymi Across cultures, this moment has always celebrated life, fertility, and protection. It is when the fire within the Earth and within ourselves begins to rise again.
Once, these celebrations were not about territories or borders but about our shared connection with the land and the cosmos. This is the remembrance that ARPI seeks to bring back, a return to unity, reverence, and the pulse that beats in all living beings.
Together, Kai, Chaka & Johanne will weave their lineages of Core Shamanism, ARPI Method, sweatlodge ceremony creating a living bridge between ancestral roots and disconnection to reconnect .

Kai Uwe Faust is a ritual artist, storyteller, and guardian of ancestral memory. He is known worldwide as one of the founding voices of Heilung, the Ancestral musical Scandinavian project that brings ancient texts, forgotten chants, and shamanic practices back into living presence.Born in rural Germany and raised within strict structures, Kai followed an inner pull that led him away from dogma and into the forest, mythology, and the old Northern traditions. His early path as a traditional tattoo artist deepened this calling. Through years of learning from Nordic and European tribal imagery, he became a keeper of symbols that carry the memory of a land and a people who once lived in deep connection with nature. In Heilung, Kai steps into the role of channel rather than performer. His voice is a gateway, moving between whisper, growl, prayer, and trance. He brings more than two decades of shamanic practice into every ritual, inviting those who listen to remember something older than culture and older than language. Kai’s work is not entertainment. It is remembrance. A return to the raw pulse of the Earth, to the rhythm of bone and breath, to the lived spirituality that once united the Northern world with the cycles of nature. He walks his path with humility and intensity, carrying the old stories forward, helping people reconnect with the sacred through sound, presence, and the honesty of the unseen.

Nicolas Chaka Schipper Pérez is an artivist, ritual guide, and ethno therapist rooted in the Andean mountains of Ecuador, with ancestral ties to the Kitu Kara, Wallmapu, Basque, and Gaelic worlds. His path weaves ancient memory with contemporary healing, always guided by a profound respect for land, lineage, and the unseen.
Chaka is the founder of ARPI, a path that helps people return to their root, to their breath, and to the memory of who they were before fear and fragmentation. Through VIDAYA Community and Journeys, he holds spaces where plant medicine, embodied awareness, and ancestral traditions meet in a decolonized and grounded way.
As the drummer of Heilung, he carries the pulse of ritual. His drum becomes a bridge between worlds, remembering the ancient mother culture that once connected sky, Earth, and the four directions. His soundwork is not performance but invocation, calling people back into presence and embodiment.
For more than a decade and a half, Chaka has walked and learned with elders and wisdom keepers across Ecuador and beyond. His work is shaped by lived experience, not theory, and by a commitment to walk as an eternal apprentice. Through sound, ceremony, and the ARPI principles, he invites others into remembrance, reconnection, and the simple truth that healing begins by coming back home to oneself.

Johanne is a pioneer of Nordic nature spirituality with more than thirty years of lived experience. She carries a deep lineage shaped both by the old Nordic traditions and by many years of learning beside Native American elders, Lakota and Cherokee teachers, Siberian shaman Ahamkara, Annette Høst, Michelle McEwan, and other wisdom keepers from earth based cultures. Her real training, as she says, comes from the school of life and her own spirit helpers.
She works as a ceremony leader, healer, teacher and guide who helps people return to their essence. She is the founder of Eagleroad course center, a living space dedicated to ceremony, healing, human connection, and the remembrance of nature as our first teacher. Today Eagleroad holds around 250 course days each year rooted in well being, personal development, shamanism, Nordic natural faith and inner peace.
Johanne walks her path with humility. She is a singer, a bridge builder, and a nature child who moves between worlds with grounded presence and clear guidance. Her work invites people to reconnect with their inner wisdom, their roots, and the primal power that has always lived within them.
Activities to celebrate
a special season
Welcome to Territory
A land acknowledgment and ceremony guided by a local caretaker. As we enter a time in the year when many cultures celebrate renewal, light, and the rising life force of Earth, we will honor the ancestral spirits of this land, their traditions, and the stories that still breathe beneath our feet. This moment invites us to arrive with respect, to listen deeply, and to root ourselves in the living memory of the territory that welcomes us.
Understanding Core Shamanism
In this workshop we explore the essence of shamanic practice as it has existed across time and cultures. We reflect on Nordic shamanism, symbolism, and the ancient view of reality as a three layered cosmos. Through light trance and guided journeys, participants will connect with personal helping spirits to receive insight, healing, and guidance. This is not about becoming a shaman. It is about remembering techniques of inner travel, intuition, and connection. Each participant will leave with a personal symbol to support their path forward.
Sweat Lodge
An ancient purification ceremony. Inside the warmth and darkness of the lodge we meet the elements, cleanse the body, and reconnect with spirit. At this time of the year when the Earth rises into its fertile cycle, the lodge becomes a space of renewal, rebirth, and deep release.
BreathIN
A unique experience of reconnection through breath. This practice brings you back to your body, awakens awareness, and helps you remember your natural rhythm. It is not a technique you have to master. It is simply a return to presence.
Suruna Drum Therapy Circle
The drum has carried humanity through transitions and seasonal thresholds since the beginning. Through rhythm we release, express, and return to balance. No experience is needed and no drum is required. The rhythm is already within you, waiting to be heard. No need to be a drummer, just need to bring one, you can also purchase one with a special offer just CLICK HERE
Understanding the Foundations of ARPI
An exploration of the four living principles of Awareness, Rest, Purpose, and Interaction. Learn how these foundations can support your daily life, your relationships, and your deeper process of remembrance.
Calmness and Connection
A closing space to integrate and honor your journey. We return to stillness, presence, and gratitude, carrying forward what we have remembered and allowing the energy of this seasonal moment to continue guiding us long after the retreat ends.
And always remember that nature teaches more about shamanism and spirituality than any human ever can.
